CASE: Mr. Ayaz Moazam graduated from a renowned Business School in 2017. After seeing different job offers; he decided to join the business of his father Mr. Moazam who started his first Car dealership business in 2007 and second in 2010. The foremost fascination of this business for him was that it was a capital intensive business and he managed it with just two unskilled assistants. In 2013 Moazam opened rent a car service along with his two car showrooms. Mr. Moazam had decided by 2015 to expand the services with his showrooms to include automatic car wash and oil changing workshops. He added these services to better utilize the unused space in his showroom and also to increase his profit. Due to the increased demand of permanent customers he embarked upon an expansion phase that would save the time of his drivers who were providing rent a car service. Each showroom and workshop has its site manager and ten employees and annual revenue of approximately Rs. 7,200,000. However, their employees were not happy from the offered compensation programs and also showed serious discontentment from the management behavior. Therefore, Ayaz joined the business as a troubleshooter and consultant with an aim of learning and solving the problems of his father’s business.
